Ultimate Roast with 10 Spices, Special Pepper, and Fried Rice Blend
Ingredients:
– 1 whole chicken or 4-pound roast beef
– 3 tablespoons 10 Spices, Special Pepper and Fried Rice Salt-Free Blends
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, potatoes, and bell peppers)
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Meat: Pat the chicken or roast beef dry with paper towels. Rub the meat thoroughly with olive oil.
3. Seasoning: Mix the 10 Spices, Special Pepper and Fried Rice Salt-Free Blends. Rub this mixture all over the meat, ensuring even coverage.
4. Stuffing (Optional): If using chicken, stuff the cavity with half of the minced garlic, some onion slices, and a few sprigs of fresh herbs.
5. Prepare Vegetables: In a roasting pan, toss the mixed vegetables with the remaining olive oil and a little of the 10 Spices Special Salt-Free Blend and pepper mixture.
6. Roasting: Place the seasoned meat on top of the vegetables in the roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 1.5 hours (chicken) or 2-2.5 hours (roast beef), or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) for chicken or 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare beef. Baste occasionally with the pan juices.
7. Fried Rice: While the meat is roasting, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. You can add some cooked rice, remaining onion slices. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the rice is heated through and slightly crispy.
8. Finishing Touch: Once the meat is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
9. Serving: Serve slices of the roast meat alongside the roasted vegetables and fried rice. Garnish with fresh herbs for a final touch.
