Salt-Free Harmony Pasta Bolognese Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a leaner option)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed/puree tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Salt-Free Harmony Salt-Free Special Blend
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cook the Meat:
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Add 2 tea spoons of Harmony Blend
- Add Tomatoes and Seasoning:
- Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and Salt-Free Harmony Special Blend. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer the Sauce:
- Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook the Pasta:
- While the sauce is simmering, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Combine and Serve:
- Toss the cooked pasta with the Bolognese sauce until well combined.
- Serve hot, topped with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
