Easy Fried Rice Recipe with our Fried Rice Special Blend
Ingredients:
- 2 cups rice (preferably the Tropical Sun Easy Cook)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, and corn)
- Fried Rice Special Blend
- 2 onions, sliced or chopped
- Optional: cooked protein (chicken, shrimp, or tofu), sliced
Instructions:
- Prep the Rice: wash with warm water thoroughly about 4 times.
- Heat Oil: In a large skillet, pan, pot or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the Onion: Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add Vegetables: Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender, sea.
- Add Rice: Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps. Stir everything together.
- Season: Sprinkle the Fried Rice Special Blend over the rice. Mix well to ensure the rice is evenly coated with the seasoning.
- Heat Through: Continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the rice is heated through and slightly crispy.
- Finish: Stir in the chopped onions and any optional cooked protein. Cook for an additional minute.
- Serve: Remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy your flavourful and easy fried rice!
Tips:
- For extra flavour, add a splash of 10 spices to make it more flavourful.
